Konstantinos Mitroglou confident of goal breakthrough

Greece striker Konstantinos Mitroglou is confident that Greece can score the goals needed to secure their passage into the next round of the World Cup.

Konstantinos Mitroglou has stated that he is confident Greece can score the goals needed to secure a place in the last 16 of the World Cup.

The Ethniki have failed to find the net in their opening two games of the tournament, but following a goalless draw against Japan last time out, they are still in with a chance of progressing from Group C.

Greece take on Ivory Coast on Tuesday evening knowing that three points will likely take them through.

"They have excellent players like Drogba and Toure," Mitroglou is quoted as saying by Soccerway. "But we have to look at what we are doing. The task is simple. We have to win. With the hard work we've been putting in and a little luck, the goals will come."

Colombia currently lead the group with six points from two games.
