Crystal Palace appoint Tony Pulis

Tony Pulis agrees to become the new manager of Premier League side Crystal Palace.

Tony Pulis has accepted an offer to become the new manager of Premier League side Crystal Palace on a contract until the summer of 2016.

The Eagles have been in the market for a new boss ever since Ian Holloway stepped down from the position in October.

Pulis, who has been out of work since he left Stoke City in the summer, is thought to have turned down Palace's advances earlier this month, amid reports that he was concerned by the transfer funds that would be made available to him.

However, the 55-year-old has now agreed to take charge at Selhurst Park, but interim boss Keith Millen will remain at the helm for this afternoon's trip to Hull City.

Pulis's first match as manager will come against Norwich City next weekend.
