Joel Campbell eyeing England victory

Costa Rica striker Joel Campbell believes that his side can add England to the list of their World Cup scalps when they face the Three Lions on Tuesday.

Costa Rica striker Joel Campbell is confident that his side can pick up their third win in a row in the World Cup when they face England.

Jorge Luis Pinto's side have been the surprise package of the tournament as they have already qualified for the second round after defeating Uruguay and Italy in their first two matches.

Campbell believes that his side can end their group campaign on a high and set themselves up for a run to the latter stages with a victory over the already-eliminated Three Lions.

He told reporters: "Can we beat England? Yes, of course. We have a good team and it's another game like playing against Uruguay and Italy.

"We have to play very strongly but we can win."

Costa Rica face England on Tuesday in Belo Horizonte.
