AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma reportedly lays out his contract demands to the Italian club amid reports linking him with a summer switch to Chelsea.

Gianluigi Donnarumma has reportedly told AC Milan that it will take a significant pay rise to keep him at the club amid reported interest from Chelsea.

The 21-year-old has less than a year remaining on his current contract at San Siro and is thought to be on Chelsea's radar as they search for a new goalkeeper.

Frank Lampard is keen to bring in someone to challenge Kepa Arrizabalaga for the number one spot at Stamford Bridge next season and recent reports suggest that they are considering a £50m bid for Donnarumma.

Milan remain keen to keep hold of the Italy international, but talks over an extension to his current deal have so far proved fruitless.

Corriere della Serra claims that Donnarumma is asking for a salary of €10m (£9m) per year to pen fresh terms - a substantial jump from his current £5.4m-a-year contract.

Donnarumma has already made more than 200 appearances for AC Milan despite only turning 21 in February, having broken into the first team as a 16-year-old.
