Head coach Antonio Conte says that Chelsea have a "good opportunity" to put pressure on Liverpool in the race to secure a Champions League spot for next season.

Head coach Antonio Conte has suggested that Chelsea sense an opportunity to give themselves a chance of qualifying for next season's Champions League.

The Blues currently sit five points adrift of the top four in the Premier League table, but victories over Liverpool and Huddersfield Town will leave Conte's team level with the Merseyside giants heading into the final day of the campaign.

Conte has acknowledged that the West Londoners still hold hope of edging out their rivals, but admits that they face a difficult game against a Liverpool side who have just reached the Champions League final.

At a press conference, the 48-year-old told reporters: "This could be a good opportunity for us, but as I said a lot of times, in the last three games, if we want to keep the hope alive, we have to win.

"We have to get the three points. As you know, Liverpool are a good team. It won't be easy, but, if we want to keep the hope alive, we have to try to win and get three points on Sunday."

Chelsea head into the match at Stamford Bridge having won their last four fixtures in all competitions.
