Antonio Conte insists that adding the FA Cup to last season's Premier League crown would mark a "great achievement" for Chelsea.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has targeted victory over Manchester United in this weekend's FA Cup final to paper over a disappointing campaign.

The defending champions finished down in fifth place in the Premier League, 23 points worse off than last season, and also exited the Champions League at the last-16 stage.

Conte, whose position at Stamford Bridge remains unclear heading into the final match of the campaign, believes that adding the FA Cup to last term's Prem title would be a "great achievement" for his side.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, the Italian said: "It's important to think together about our season, about last season when we won the league, about this season the possibility to win another trophy.

"For sure, it will be a great achievement for the team, for the players, for the club and for our fans.

"When you play a final the most important thing is to win. It will be a tactical game. I don't know what type of game we will see but it will be very tough for both teams."

Chelsea finished 11 points behind United in the Premier League, drawing and losing their last two matches.
