Mason Mount claims that Chelsea are capable of overturning a three-goal deficit against Bayern Munich in the Champions League next month.

Mason Mount has insisted that Chelsea have the quality in their squad to pull off a miracle comeback against Bayern Munich.

On Tuesday night, Chelsea succumbed to a 3-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge, leaving Bayern on the brink of the Champions League quarter-finals.

However, Mount feels that the Blues should attempt to take inspiration from their fightback against Bayern in the 2012 final ahead of the reverse fixture at the Allianz Arena.

The Englishman is quoted by the Evening Standard as saying: "We have to be positive, anything can happen. We saw in the final between Chelsea and Bayern that anything can happen in football.

"It is 3-0, but you never know, and we need to go there with our heads held high and try to perform to the best of our ability.

"We have shown we can come back in the past and we need to gather ourselves together and we have it in the changing room to bring out the personalities and bounce back in the next game."

The Premier League outfit will also be without Marcos Alonso and Jorginho through suspension.
