Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is not entertaining the idea that the Cherries are safe from relegation.

Eddie Howe has dismissed suggestions that Bournemouth have won their relegation battle, insisting that his players do not yet believe such theories.

The Cherries, who made their top-flight debut this season, sit 13 points above the drop zone following a solid last few weeks which has yielded three victories.

Howe's men sit 13th on 38 points, but the Bournemouth boss is adamant that his troops must continue winning games until safety is a mathematical certainty.

"There is no feeling inside the camp that we are safe," he told reporters.

"There won't be until it's mathematical, and even then the work ethic doesn't change: we'll still want to win games. That continues on Sunday."

They go in search of a fourth straight league win on Sunday by visiting title-chasing Tottenham Hotspur.
