Eddie Howe reveals that Bournemouth have complained to match officials about the awarding of two penalties in their 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace and are awaiting feedback.

Eddie Howe has revealed that Bournemouth have complained to match officials about the awarding of two penalties in their 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace and are awaiting feedback.

In Saturday's Premier League encounter at Selhurst Park, Luka Milivojevic converted a first-half penalty for the Eagles after Wilfried Zaha drew contact from Asmir Begovic.

Palace were then awarded a second spot kick in injury time, but Christian Benteke failed with his effort from 12 yards.

Howe insisted that both penalties were questionable and admitted that the Cherries discussed the incidents with the officials after the game.

"I haven't seen [the incidents] again, the second one definitely our players feel is not a penalty, our players feel Charlie (Daniels) has got the ball," Howe told Sky Sports News.

"So that really hurts. We would have lost the game but for a great save from our goalkeeper. The first one wasn't clear-cut either.

"We're going through a period where we're on the wrong end of the decisions; we've asked the officials to look again at both, and we await feedback."

Prior to Saturday's game in London, Howe was left unhappy after referee Jon Moss failed to award Bournemouth a penalty in last weekend's 1-1 draw with Southampton.
