The 24-year-old joined the Rossoblu in the summer from Roma, but went the opening 10 league games without finding the net.

However, he finally ended his long goalscoring drought by grabbing the second in Bologna's 3-0 win over Atalanta BC this afternoon.

"I really wanted to score a goal and I think the fans for always supporting me," Destro told Sky Sport Italia.
