Feyenoord attacker Dirk Kuyt dismisses suggestions that he could join European champions Barcelona during the winter transfer window.

Dirk Kuyt has moved to distance himself from speculation that has linked him with a move to Barcelona in January.

The former Liverpool attacker has found the net 10 times in his 11 Eredivisie outings for Feyenoord this term.

That form had resulted in suggestions that Barca had identified the 35-year-old as the ideal player to provide some back-up for Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar.

However, Kuyt has insisted that he has no plans to depart De Kuip.

"Should the Feyenoord fans be concerned because I might go to Barca? No. I feel good here, I've started something beautiful [at Feyenoord] and I want to finish it," he told Dutch TV station RTL.

Kuyt rejoined Feyenoord in the summer, having had a previous three-year stint with De club aan de Maas between 2003 and 2006.
