A report claims that Aston Villa will look to get Gabriel Agbonlahor off their wage bill ahead of a likely campaign in the Championship.

Aston Villa will welcome offers for Gabriel Agbonlahor in the summer, according to a report.

Earlier today, the striker was cleared of any wrongdoing following an internal investigation into his conduct during a recent trip to Dubai.

Nevertheless, with relegation to the Championship looking inevitable, The Telegraph claims that Villa are keen to get the 29-year-old off their wage bill.

The report adds that the three-capped England international currently pockets £54,000 a week at Villa Park.

It is further believed that winger Charles N'Zogbia, who supposedly earns even more than Agbonlahor, will also be sold.
