Aleksandar Tonev leaves Aston Villa for Frosinone

Aston Villa confirm that winger Aleksandar Tonev has moved to Serie A newcomers Frosinone on a permanent deal.

Aston Villa winger Aleksandar Tonev has joined Serie A newcomers Frosinone on a permanent deal.

The 25-year-old Bulgarian moved to Villa Park from Lech Poznan in 2013.

Tonev, who spent part of last season on loan at Celtic, made a total of 20 appearances for the Villans.


Tonev played 13 times for Celtic during the 2014-15 campaign.
