Arsenal are reportedly finding it difficult to find a buyer for Shkodran Mustafi, who could leave the Emirates Stadium this summer.
The defender has spent the last three years with Arsenal - making a total of 115 appearances in all competitions - but the 27-year-old struggled for form during the last campaign.
According to BBC Sport, that has resulted in the Gunners attempting to cash in on Mustafi, who cost the club £35m after the 2016 World Cup.
However, the report adds that there is little interest in the Germany international, putting Arsenal in a position where they are unlikely to recoup the money which they shelled out for the ex-Valencia man.
The Premier League outfit have been linked with several potential replacements for Mustafi, including William Saliba and Joachim Andersen.
