Arsenal are linked with a surprise move for German goalkeeper Kevin Trapp.

Arsenal are reportedly plotting a January move for Eintracht Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp.

The Gunners are willing to shell out £4m to bring the former Germany Under-21 stopper to the Emirates Stadium, the Daily Star reports.

Trapp, who recently spent time on the sidelines through injury, has 18 months remaining on his current contract with the Bundesliga club.

Arsenal already have backup for first-choice goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny in the form of David Ospina and Emiliano Martinez.
