Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger praises the "resilient" Theo Walcott after he kept up his recent good form with two goals against Swansea City.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has talked up the resilience of Theo Walcott after the winger continued his recent good form in front of goal.

The 27-year-old has been rejuvenated so far this season, scoring six times in his last five appearances for the Gunners.

That includes the opening two goals in Arsenal's 3-2 victory over Swansea City this afternoon, and Wenger believes that it could have been even more for the England international.

"He could have had a hat-trick, maybe even four," he told reporters.

"He scored two goals, I make that six now which is very encouraging. He is much more resilient."

Arsenal now sit joint top of the Premier League table, only behind leaders Manchester City on goal difference.
