Arsene Wenger admits that he will continue to rotate his Arsenal squad this season as he attempts to juggle a busy schedule of Premier League and Europa League.

Arsene Wenger has vowed to continue rotating his Arsenal squad this season as he attempts to juggle a busy schedule.

Following Monday's 2-0 win over West Bromwich Albion, the Gunners manager made nine changes ahead of their Europa League tie against BATE Borisov.

Arsenal went on to claim a 4-2 victory in Barysaw on Thursday night, and ahead of Sunday's Premier League game with Brighton & Hove Albion, Wenger suggested that he will tinker with his squad once again.

When asked if Jack Wilshere and Theo Walcott may feature against the Seagulls, Wenger told Sky Sports News: "They are ready to play.

"That's the rotation system, it gives a breather to players who need one and competition to players who need competition.

"The positive thing of that is I have 20 players to choose from. The negative is that some players who deserve to play will not necessarily play in the next game.

"But that was the same after West Brom - players deserved to play in the Europa League and they have not played. I'll keep the rotation going."

Alexis Sanchez, Alexandre Lacazette, Laurent Koscielny, Aaron Ramsey and Granit Xhaka could all return for Arsenal after being rested for the midweek trip to Belarus.
