Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Arsenal on Friday, December 11.

The summer transfer window has now closed, with Arsenal pulling off one of the standout deals on deadline day.

The Gunners triggered the release clause of Thomas Partey to cap off a relatively busy summer which saw the likes of Willian and Gabriel Magalhaes join too, and attention will now begin to turn to January.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings at the Emirates Stadium.

Friday morning's Arsenal transfer talk news roundup:

Real Betis 'eyeing move for Arsenal's Willian'

Real Betis are reportedly considering an approach for Arsenal attacker Willian.

The 32-year-old only joined the Gunners over the summer, penning a three-year contract at the Emirates Stadium following his exit from Chelsea.

Willian has struggled to make his mark for Mikel Arteta's side, though, managing just three assists and zero goals in 14 appearances in all competitions.

According to El Gol Digital, Betis have identified the Brazil international as a potential transfer target and could test the London club's resolve with an offer.

The report claims that the La Liga club are searching for a replacement for Joaquin, who could decide to hang up his boots when his current deal expires next summer.

Willian scored 63 goals and registered 62 assists in 339 appearances for Chelsea between 2013 and 2020 but could not come to an agreement with the Blues over a new deal.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta promises decision on William Saliba future "soon"

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has suggested that discussions regarding William Saliba's future are due to take place in the coming weeks.

Despite being kept at the Emirates Stadium for the first half of the season, the Frenchman is yet to make a single appearance for the senior side.

That has inevitably led to the 19-year-old being linked with a temporary move away from the Gunners during the January transfer window.

At a time when his options have been boosted by the returns of Pablo Mari and Calum Chambers, Arteta has acknowledged that he wants to find a solution for the Frenchman.

Speaking to reporters, Arteta said: "It's something that we are discussing at the moment. The best thing for us to do. It will be decided soon."

Saliba featured for the club's Under-21 side earlier this week, picking up a late red card in a 3-0 defeat at AFC Wimbledon.
