Senior members of the Royal Family will speak on camera about Prince Philip in a special tribute documentary for the BBC.

Senior members of the Royal Family are to pay tribute to Prince Philip on screen as part of a special BBC documentary.

The Duke of Edinburgh died at the age of 99 in April, two months short of his 100th birthday, after several months of ill health.

The BBC had been working on a documentary involving the Royals to mark Philip's centenary but following his death the programme has been reworked as a poignant tribute instead.

All four of The Queen and Philip's children - Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward - will speak on camera about their father in interviews recorded before and after his death.

The programme will also feature contributions from his adult grandchildren and other members of the Royal family, while it will also include footage from The Queen's private film collection.

Prince Philip: The Royal Family Remembers will air on BBC One on Wednesday, September 22 at 9pm.
