Rebekah Vardy reportedly agrees to give her side of the Wagatha Christie scandal to discovery+ in a new documentary series.

Rebekah Vardy has reportedly signed a deal with discovery+ to make a programme giving her side of the Wagatha Christie scandal.

In 2019, Coleen Rooney - wife of England legend Wayne Rooney - suggested that Vardy, wife of Leicester City frontman Jamie Vardy, had been responsible for multiple leaks about her private life to the press, allegations Rebekah vehemently denied.

The saga reached a climax earlier this year when a judge in a libel case ruled in Coleen's favour, awarding her £1.5m in damages.

Since then Coleen has signed up to appear in an all-access documentary series about the affair for Disney+, and now The Sun says that Rebekah has signed with discovery+ to give her account.

"Becky has been inundated with offers ever since the trial ended," a source told the newspaper.

"She has made no secret she believes she has been hard done by and is keen for her voice to be heard.

"Right now she is facing the prospect of a hefty legal bill and sees this documentary as a way to recoup some of the costs.

"Obviously her fee won't be anything like the cost of her lawyers but it will help."

The show is expected to be released on discovery+ "in the coming months".
