Channel 4 is reportedly planning a bizarre new show where celebrities will wear the contents of their rubbish bins for a week.

A group of celebrities will reportedly wear the contents of their bins for a bizarre new Channel 4 series.

The show, called Trash Monsters, is designed to highlight the extent to which domestic waste is a problem in the UK.

"Celebrities and their agents are being approached about Trash Monsters now," a source told The Sun.

"You'd think people would be running for the hills but surprisingly a number of stars are up for wearing the rubbish suit."

The insider added: "They want the celebs to take a long hard look at what they go through in a week. It'll be counting everything, from old teabags to Amazon parcels.

"The celebs will be made to wear a special suit which will have their rubbish and recycling inside it. They'll have to wear the suit at home, and while out and about, to gauge reactions.

"It's a totally barmy idea but Channel 4 seem to really like it."

The series is expected to be filmed this summer for broadcast in the autumn.
