The BBC has announced a new reality show which will look to find the best undiscovered acting talent from across the UK.
Bring The Drama will welcome applications from amateur actors of all ages and backgrounds, with the best candidates being put through their paces by some of the industry's top casting directors, writers and on-screen talent.
The six-part show will conclude with a final showcase, in which one of the contestants will win the prize of a role in a BBC drama and the chance of representation with a top talent agent.
"British TV actors are among the best in the world, but there's still plenty of undiscovered talent waiting for their big break," said Clare Mottershead, the BBC's commissioning editor for factual.
"In this entertaining and revealing new competition, we're scouring the UK to find our next acting superstars, as we put them put through their paces behind the scenes of some of Britain's biggest and best loved dramas."
Applications are currently open online until June 4, with filming due to take place this summer.
The show is expected to air on BBC Two and iPlayer later this year.
