Bobby Norris announces his exit from The Only Way Is Essex in order to host a new online spinoff discussion show.

Bobby Norris has announced that he has quit The Only Way Is Essex after almost 10 years on the show.

The 34-year-old is leaving the ITVBe reality series in order to host a new spinoff discussion show, TOWIE: The Official After Party, which will be released online after each week's new episodes of the main show.

The news comes amid a huge cast shake-up which has seen a large number of regulars dropped ahead of the new series, which is due to begin next month.

"This was an opportunity to be a professional gossip and something I couldn't refuse! With some big changes on the next series of TOWIE happening I'm also ready to embrace change this year," Norris told The Sun.

"I decided that now felt like the right time to take a step back from being a regular cast member to focus on presenting. It's going to be so much fun catching up with TOWIE cast on set and hanging out in the studio together.

"After 10 years of TOWIE the show and the fans have been such a huge part of my life, but you haven't seen the last of me and this is the start of a new chapter! Stay tuned!"

TOWIE: The Official After Party will be released through The Sun's website starting in September.
