Cameron Lombard has reportedly been chosen to replace Aljaz Skorjanec as a main dancer on the next series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Fan favourite Skorjanec, 32, announced earlier this week that he had decided to leave the show after nine years as part of the professional troupe.
South African dancer Lombard, 21, joined the cast last year but was not given a celebrity partner - although The Sun says that will change this year in the wake of Skorjanec's departure.
"Cameron is a big character, as well as a hugely talented dancer," a source told the newspaper. "He was disappointed not to get a partner for the last series but 2022 is set to be his year.
"He's already a favourite with hardcore Strictly fans who have seen him on tour, and bosses are confident mainstream audiences will follow suit."
The new series is due to begin on BBC One in September.
