Nicky Doll is announced as host of the upcoming French spinoff of Drag Race.

Nicky Doll has been revealed as the host of the upcoming French edition of the Drag Race franchise.

The 30-year-old became the first French queen to appear on RuPaul's Drag Race, placing 11th on the 12th season of the show in 2020.

First announced in November, Drag Race France will also feature TV presenter Daphne Burki and DJ Kiddy Smile as permanent judges.

"I'm honoured and thrilled to be the mistress of ceremonies of this emblematic show, which is going to revolutionise French drag and give prominence to incredible queer artists!" Nicky Doll said in a statement. "So, start your engines, and may the best drag queen... win!"

The new show will air internationally on WOW Presents Plus later this year.
