Armie Hammer gives Call Me By Your Name 2 update
Armie Hammer reveals that he is yet to see a script for the upcoming sequel to Call Me By Your Name.

Armie Hammer has admitted that he has yet to see a script for the upcoming Call Me By Your Name sequel.

The gay romantic drama - based on the book by Andre Aciman - received widespread critical acclaim upon its release in 2017, while Hammer and co-star Timothee Chalamet gained legions of fans around the worldwide for their on-screen chemistry.

Luca Guadagnino is now working on a sequel, Find Me, with both main actors back on board - although Hammer says that he is still in the dark about how the project is progressing.

"I still haven't seen a script," he told Variety. "I don't know if there is a script and they're just not giving it to me or if there isn't a script."

Hammer inadvertently sparked speculation that the new film was imminent earlier this week when he posted a series of sexually suggestive emojis on Chalamet's Instagram but insists that his message was only intended to be a joke.

"People got so excited," he added. "I don't think they realised I was actually making fun of how ridiculous people sound on the internet now!"

Hammer will next be seen in Netflix's romantic thriller Rebecca, while Chalamet's epic sci-fi movie Dune has been pushed back to 2021.
