Jacques O'Neill has left the Love Island villa just hours after the return of Adam Collard to the show.
The 23-year-old had already been contemplating his future in the villa after his antics in Casa Amor led to him being ditched by Paige Thorne.
In a trailer shown last night, Jacques was shown reacting angrily to the arrival of Adam, who has hinted that he is keen to get to know Paige.
A show spokesman said: "Jacques has made the decision to leave the Villa. He will explain his reasons to the Islanders during tonight's episode.
"We fully support his decision and look forward to seeing what's next for Jacques."
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
