Coronation Street legend Andy Whyment is reportedly taking part in the new All-Stars spinoff of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The special show will unite some of I'm A Celeb's most memorable participants from over the years and is being pre-recorded in South Africa for broadcast on ITV early next year.

According to The Sun, the latest name expected to take part is Whyment - aka Kirk Sutherland on the cobbles - who finished runner-up in the 2019 series.

"Andy is hugely popular with audiences, who love his down-to-earth nature and sense of humour," a source said.

"He's the perfect antidote to some of the divas and egos who are likely to be in the final lineup and producers are keen to strike the right balance."

Other names in the frame include Paul Burrell, Jordan Banjo, Amir Khan, Carol Vorderman, Helen Flanagan and Dean Gaffney.
