Curtis Pritchard reveals his plans to return to acting in the near future, despite his widely-derided brief stint on Hollyoaks last year.

Curtis Pritchard has signalled his intent to return to acting in the near future, despite a widely-derided debut on Hollyoaks last year.

The professional dancer and his brother AJ Pritchard had a brief stint on the Channel 4 soap playing brothers Marco and Jacob, but were panned by viewers for their wooden delivery and were quietly dropped after just a handful of appearances.

Curtis, 26, has revealed that he was not deterred by the experience, however, and has even started taking professional lessons in a bid to land new roles in future.

"Going on Hollyoaks was such a great thing because I learned so much from it," he told the Daily Star. "It taught me a lot of acting. I fell in love with acting. It gave me a buzz for acting.

"I am 100% keen to do more acting. 1000%! I have been having acting lessons. From that performance on Hollyoaks to now, I'm like a different person."

Of the negative reaction, he added: "Put it like this, I got more press than Hollyoaks has ever got. In more countries than even get Hollyoaks. They were very happy."

Curtis and AJ can currently be seen taking part in the new series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
