Michael Starke will reportedly return to Hollyoaks in the near future after making a cameo appearance last month.
The actor - best known for his stint playing Sinbad on Brookside between 1984 and 2000 - appeared in two episodes of the soap playing a cab driver.
According to Metro, the character will return in the coming weeks for "eventful" scenes.
The number of episodes Starke will feature in is unknown, although the publication claims that there is a "possibility that the character may become recurring as a beloved comedy character".
Hollyoaks continues weeknights on Channel 4 and E4.
