Take a look at the hostage situation that unfolds on Hollyoaks this week as Eric threatens the lives of the women in the village.

The misogyny plot involving Eric (Angus Castle-Doughty) comes to a head in Hollyoaks this week as he puts a disturbing plan into motion.

In a special hour-long episode airing Tuesday on E4 and Wednesday on Channel 4, Eric takes some of the village's female residents hostage in The Dog during the wake for his sister Verity (Eva O'Hara).

Armed with a crossbow, Eric live streams the ordeal to his incel community on the Men's First website - and when Mason (Frank Kauer) sees online what's happening, he alerts his parents to the unfolding situation.

As police arrive at the scene, will Eric be convinced to let his hostages go or will there be a tragic twist in proceedings?
