Charley Webb will reportedly not be returning to Emmerdale as Debbie Dingle any time soon.
The character made a surprise return to the village on Christmas Day, when it was revealed that she was Al's mystery woman, but left again a month later after Debbie teamed up with Priya to exact revenge on the two-timer.
Debbie's return after more than 16 months away from the Dales led to speculation that she could come back again for a longer stint, but according to The Sun, no such plans are afoot.
"There are no current plans for Charley to return as Debbie at this time," a source told the newspaper.
"However the door is always open for her.
"Debbie's daughter and her family are in the village so it's definitely not a permanent goodbye."
