Alexander Lincoln reveals that he has had "a few" conversations about reprising his role as Jamie Tate on Emmerdale.

Alexander Lincoln has revealed that he has held 'conversations' about reprising his role of Jamie Tate on Emmerdale.

The character - devious son of Kim Tate (Claire King) - exited the Dales in 2021 after faking his own death, although his mother has subsequently discovered that he is alive.

Asked by The Sun if Jamie could return any time soon, Lincoln replied: "Yes definitely, It's a conversation that I've had quite a few times.

"At the moment I'm quite enjoying this vibe and writing, so we'll see what happens in the future."

He continued: "I loved it there. It was the first place I worked at and I try to keep up as much as I can.

"I'm still friends with the cast, I still see Lawrence [Robb] a little bit, not as much as I'd like to as I don't go up north that much any more. But I do speak to quite a few people."

Lincoln can currently be seen in the gay rugby movie In From The Side, which is streaming on Netflix.

Emmerdale, meanwhile, continues weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
