Big Mo will return to EastEnders this summer, it has been revealed.
The character - played by Laila Morse - left Walford in June 2021 to go on an epic cruise with Fat Elvis, leaving Jean (Gillian Wright) to deal with her illegal cannabis farm.
One year on, Mo returns to the Square in the coming months - but what exactly has brought her back? And what sort of reception will she get from Jean?
"I always have so much fun playing Mo so I can't wait to get back to the Square and see what mischief she gets up to this time," said Morse, who has played Mo for the last 22 years.
"I've missed my on-screen family so much and can't wait to see everyone again."
Mo's return to Walford is described as being for "a short stint" only.
