David Tennant will read a story in character as The Doctor as part of the CBeebies Bedtime Story strand.
The actor is reprising the role - albeit as a new incarnation - for three special episodes of Doctor Who to mark the show's 60th anniversary.
Now the Fourteenth Doctor has been confirmed for an episode of Bedtime Story that will see him read The Way Back Home by Oliver Jeffers.
The book follows a young boy who discovers an airplane in his closet and decides to fly it in to space, finding himself a new friendship along the way.
Tennant's episode airs this Friday at 6.50pm on CBeebies, while Doctor Who returns at 6.30pm on Saturday on BBC One.
