Coronation Street actor Mikey North has sparked fears that his character Gary Windass is on the verge of departing the cobbles.
The net appears to be closing in on Gary from all sides with regards to Rick's murder and in scenes to be shown later this week, Sarah will learn the truth from the horse's mouth.
North has revealed that he has now finished filming all of his scenes since production resumed after the coronavirus lockdown and has no idea "if" he will be back on set.
"This is the truth," he said on Loose Women. "I've shot all of my scenes back so now I am waiting to see if I am going back or what I am going back to.
"I've finished my scripts so this might be it. I hope not, but we will have to wait and see."
North, 33, is approaching 12 years on the soap.
