The new UK Premier League TV rights package will reportedly include an additional 60 games.

An additional 60 games will reportedly be made available for broadcast in the UK under the next Premier League TV rights deal.

At present 200 of the division's 380 games a season are shown live, with the rights split between Sky Sports, BT Sport and Amazon's Prime Video service.

The remaining 180 - chiefly Saturday 3pm kickoffs - are shown live in the rest of the world but current broadcasting rules prevent live football from being aired during the Saturday afternoon blackout window in the UK.

While the Premier League is not pushing for a rule change at present, a further 60 games are expected to be on the cards under the next deal, which begins in 2025-26.

According to The Telegraph, the league is also considering reducing the number of packages on offer from seven to four in an attempt to drive up the price.

Domestic rights currently generate around £1.6 billion per season.
