NBC News Now will be added to the Virgin Media lineup later this month, it has been revealed.
The US streaming channel launched on linear TV in the UK via Sky on Monday - and initially it was expected that the station may be a Sky exclusive, as it comes via parent company Comcast.
Now NBC has confirmed that distribution with Virgin has also been agreed and the channel will join the service at some point later this month, weeks after the US-focused CNN International exited the platform.
Noah Oppenheim, president of NBC News, told Variety: "The expansion into the UK is a natural place for NBC News Now to begin its international expansion ambitions.
"The UK is NBC News' largest market for digital audience outside North America and is a hub of our global news gathering operations and is the home of our NBC News International headquarters."
At the moment the UK feed of NBC News Now features in-house adverts only, although revenue-generating local adverts will be introduced to the channel at some point this year.
